Proposition 4 seems to about proving that superimposition can show two triangles are equal in all respects. I decided to use a background of gridded material for this collage – appearing, disappearing, or in spots emphasizing the grid lines. Only towards the end of making the collage did I realize that laying figures on grids is a nice, modern way to show they’re equivalent!

At the bottom of the piece, I’ve included the Q.E.D.(being what it was required to prove) in greek: ὄπερ ἒδει δεῖξαι
